Hisense Launches H50 Series Smartphones in SA

Hisense has launched the H50 series in South Africa and unveiled three models, the H50, the H50 Lite and H50 Zoom with a popup camera. 

The H50 range is a serious contender in the premium market and is jam-packed with features 

Huawei says the H50 range has been designed to satisfy consumer needs through boosted-up or streamlined derivatives, but the fundamental platform across the entire range remains the same.

H50  

The H50 has a 6.81 inch O-Infinity display and sports a quad camera array at the rear with  a 64 MP HD main camera, an 8MP wide-angle camera, and an impressive multi-functional 2MP depth and macro-lens.

It also has a 32MP front facing selfie camera, which has a new feature called ‘Beauty Mode’.

The H50 packs an octa-core processor that is supported by 6GB of RAM and a standard 128GB storage facility to run Android 11. 

It is powered by a 5000mAh Battery and 18W fast charging. 

H50 Zoom

The H50 has a 6.53 inch Infinity display and sports a quad camera array at the rear with a 48 MP HD main camera, an 8MP wide-angle camera, and an impressive multi-functional 2MP depth and macro-lens. 

The H50 Zoom also has a first-of-its-kind 16MP pop-up camera with a flash that allows you to capture impeccable selfies in portrait mode.

The H50 Zoom packs an octa-core processor that is supported by 6GB of RAM and a standard 128GB storage facility to run Android 11 seamlessly. 

The H50 is powered by a 4020mAh Battery. 

H50 Lite

The H50 Lite has a 6.55 inch Infinity display and sports a quad camera array at the rear with a 48 MP HD main camera, an 5MP wide-angle camera, and an impressive multi-functional 2MP depth and macro-lens. 

The H50 Zoom also has a first-of-its-kind 16MP selfie camera.

The H50 Lite packs an octa-core processor that is supported by 4GB of RAM and standard 64GB storage. 

The H50 Lite is powered by a 5100mAh Battery. 

The  devices boast 91.26% screen-to-body ratio wrapping around the entire device – which is why Hisense has aptly named its range “Infinity”. 

The H50 also features a side-mounted fingerprint sensor and facial recognition.

The H50’s design is inspired by the movement of light, and it comes in two colours: Pine Green and Black Jade and is available at major retailers at R 7,999 for the H50, R 5,499 for the H50 Zoom and R 4,499 for the H50 Lite. 

Hisense is also offering 1 free screen replacement with the devices including other accessories depending on the model that you buy.
