Oppo Expands Smartphone Range in SA with Launch of A15 & A53s

Following the launch of its A72 smartphone Oppo has brought two more devices to South Africa.

The Chinese manufacturer launched the A15 and A53S, a mid-range offering with future plans on bringing its flagship phones next year.

Oppo A15

Oppo says the A15 has everything you need to stay in touch and up to date with all your entertainment.

The device boasts an AI-powered triple camera which includes a 13MP primary camera, a 2MP macro lens, a 2MP depth camera and a 5MP selfie camera.

It also supports HDR and offers 15 photo filters and 10 video filters.

Featuring a 6.52-inch waterdrop screen with a large 89% screen-to-body ratio, and a resolution of 1,600 x 720, the Oppo A15 measures 7.9mm, has a 3D curved body that makes it easy to grip.

Powered by a  4230mAh battery, the device  boasts , 2GB RAM, and 32GB internal storage.

The OppoA15 in Mystery Blue and Dynamic Black is currently available in South Africa and priced at R2,999.

Oppo A53s

Designed to deliver a faster and smoother performance, Oppo says the A53s empowers users to feel the speed and connects you to your entertainment needs and friends.

The A53s packs a 90Hz, 6.5-inch HD+ Neo-Display that also offers up to a 120Hz touch sampling rate.

With 4GB RAM and 128GB, it boasts a 5,000mAh battery.

Oppo says the A53s’s Super Power Saving Mode can extend the battery life even with just 5% remaining through a series of power saving strategies, while Sleep Standby Optimization consumes only 2% of the battery, giving user up to 8 hours of standby time overnight.

OPPO A53s also packs a 13MP AI Triple Camera on the rear of the phone, including a 13MP Main camera, a 2MP Depth camera

Available in Fancy Blue and Electric Black, the Oppo A53s will be priced from R4,999 in South Africa.

Both the A15 and A53s are available from a large range of South African retailers including Foschini, Cellucity, 4U, Chatz, Game, Hi, and Vodacom stores.
