Make Way for Jacaranda Day Captured by the Huawei P60 Pro
Technology giant Huawei and Jacaranda FM have announced their collaboration for one of the most renowned entertainment events on the music festival calendar for the year – Jacaranda Day captured by the P60 Pro 2023.
The musical occasion is set to host a line-up of South Africa’s best talent.
P60 Pro
The new P60 Pro will be the star of the show at the 2023 Jacaranda Day, taking place on Saturday, 12 August 2023.
The newly launched smartphone, which is known for its fusion of exquisite art and technology, will be used to capture the live concert.
The Huawei P60 Pro is currently rated Number 1, Smartphone Camera by DXOMARK. DXOMARK is an independent benchmark that scientifically assesses smartphones, lenses and cameras.
The device boasts an Ultra Lighting Telephoto Camera that ensures that images are pristine; an Ultra Lighting Main Camera which boasts an F1.4–F4.0 auto-adjustable physical aperture; up to 200× zoom range.
It also reproduces nightscapes in HD splendour, with the help of the Huawei XD Optics algorithm.
The P60 Pro also boasts a one-of-a-kind Rococo Pearl finish, a five-star glass drop-resistance Kunlun Glass, and has unrivalled charging capabilities

Jacaranda Day captured by the HUAWEI P60 Pro will take place at Idle Wild Country Estate, Centurion, Saturday, 12 August 2023.
Some of the musicians that will be performing include Mafikizolo, Demi Lee, Rob Forbes, Prime Circle and Karlien Van Jaarsveld among many others.
“Jacaranda Day captured by the Huawei P60 Pro is the perfect family-friendly festival that celebrates the array of beautiful languages and genres of what Mzansi has to offer through music,” Huawei said.
Gates open at 10am, the show starts at 11 am and ends at 8:30pm.
Tickets
Tickets are available from www.jacarandafm.com. Adult tickets will cost R250pp, while children under 13 may enter for R150pp, and family groups (2 x adults and 2 x children) will cost R700 per family to attend.
