Philips Takes Male Grooming to Next Level

Technology company Philips has taken male grooming to the next level with the newly launched OneBlade, one device for everything.
While the OneBlade is not exactly a beard trimmer or a shaver, it is an electric groomer designed for men who wear facial styles and beards.

The OneBlade can trim, edge, and shave any length of facial hair to a precision stubble length using one of the three combs that are included.

OneBlade doesn’t shave as close as a traditional blade. The dual-protection system integrates a glide coating that smoothly glides along the skin, while the rounded polymer tips guide the hairs to be instantly cut. Go against the grain and shave off any length of hair easily.

Philips says hybrid technology integrates a fast-moving blade (200x a second) with a protection system that keeps the skin smooth and supple.  

The OneBlade is water resistant so you can shave with or without foam and a rechargeable battery that delivers 45 minutes of constant grooming after an 8-hour charge.

Each replaceable blade lasts up to 4 months.

Pricing for the The OneBlade start at R 499 for the device and two combs, while the three comb and four comb OneBlade retails for R 699 and R 899.

Replaceable blades cost R249 for one and R 449 for a pack of two.
