WhatsApp to Roll Out Dark Mode Feature

It’s emerged that social media company WhatsApp is all set to roll out its much-anticipated Dark Mode feature

In reports posted by WABetaInfo, the Facebook-owned social messaging app is working on rolling out the dark mode saying the feature is still under development and the official release is yet to be announced.

While the iOS dark theme is also set for release, in a tweet shared by WABetaInfo, it reveals the gradual roll out of the Dark Mode feature for its iOS users is still under process and unstable.

Dark mode is designed to reduce screen glare by replacing light-coloured background with darker colours while exerting less strain on the battery. 

Some WhatsApp users have already figured out a way to unlock the highly anticipated feature by exploiting a bug within the Android app.
