Police Investigating Murder Case after Body Found in Lehae Near Lenasia
Police are investigating a case of murder after the body of man was found lying in a street opposite a tavern in Lehae near Lenasia.
Officers received information about the body from members of the public on Monday.
The police’s Bafana Ndimande said the motive for the murder is being is unknown at this stage.
“The paramedics were summoned to the crime scene and certified the victim dead. The victim sustained multiple stab wounds on the upper body. The pathologists transferred the deceased to Diepkloof Government Mortuary.”
Ndimande has appealed to the community to police with information that may lead to the arrest of the perpetrators.
