Apple TV Plus Now Available in South Africa
Apple TV Plus, Apple’s new video streaming service has finally landed on South African TV screens and its extremely exciting with original Apple programming for users.
CEO Tim Cook first announced Apple TV Plus during the tech giants biggest event of the year in September, which also featured the new iPhone 11.
Apple TV Plus currently only has nine titles but features some of Hollywood’s biggest stars including Jason Momoa, Oprah Winfrey, Reese Witherspoon and Jennifer Aniston among others.
The subscription to Apple TV Plus costs just R84.99 with a 7-day free trial before you subscribe.
However if you purchased a new iPhone, iPad, Apple TV, Mac or iPod touch on or after September 10, Apple will give you a free year of its streaming service.
The offer includes devices purchased from Apple or an Apple authorized reseller and refurbished models.
You can watch Apple TV Plus on a variety or Apple devices as well as a selection of smart TVs and streaming boxes.
Here’s how to activate your one year of free Apple TV+:
1. Turn on your new iPhone, iPad, iPod touch, Apple TV, or Mac device, and sign in with your Apple ID.
2. Open the Apple TV app on November 1 or later. Make sure your eligible device is running the latest version of iOS, iPadOS, tvOS, or macOS.
3. The offer should appear immediately after you launch the Apple TV app. If not, scroll down in Watch Now until the offer appears.
4. Tap Enjoy 1 Year Free. You might be asked to enter your Apple ID password, confirm your billing information, or add a valid payment method.
