Mufti Menk Meets Lenasia’s Oldest Living Resident, 101-Year-Old Muhammad Manjra
Esteemed and well-respected Islamic scholar Mufti Ismail Menk was brimming with joy after meeting one of the oldest living persons in Lenasia, 101-year-old Muhammad Manjra.
Mufti Menk made dua for Uncle Manjra and wished him well.
“Today in Lenasia I got the opportunity to meet with 101 year old Uncle Muhammad Manjra. May Allah Almighty grant him every goodness. Aameen Simple happy soul Maa shaa Allah Tabarakallah. No grudges, no ill feeling, no animosity, lots of Qur’aan Recitation, ibaadah and athkaar! Minding ones business.”
Last month Lenasia also lost one of its most honourable, humble and oldest citizens, Amina Gunduwala.
Amina passed away at the age 100-years-old
Born in India on 25 June 1921, Amina hailed from Samrod village and got married to Ahmed Gunduwala in Lajpor, India.
