SA learners Prepared for Academic Year After Programme at MTN Online Summer School

The MTN Foundation has concluded the six-week online Summer School aimed at assisting learners to close their knowledge gaps, in preparation for 2022. 

The programme saw over 1 313 learners finishing revision lessons and assessments.  

The campaign provides a further avenue for learners to access quality curriculum-aligned educational content, as endorsed and provided by the Basic Education Department

It also forms part of the MTN Online School that was launched in partnership with the Ministry of Education and the National Education Collaboration Trust (NECT) in October 2021.  

Jacqui O’Sullivan, MTN SA’s Executive for Corporate Affairs said the determination o learners to excel has been encouraging. 

“It is also heart-warming to see SA’s young people accessing the MTN Online School e-learning platform. They have taken action to make sure that, regardless of any obstacles put in their paths, they will be ready for the year ahead.” 

 MTN Summer School in partnership with the Education Ministry, the National Education Collaboration Trust (NECT), Tswelopele and 2enable also held a competition where 2GB of data were given away weekly with a laptop draw, where winners were chosen at the end of every cycle.
