Baby Boy Found Abandoned in Rustenburg Shopping Centre Toilet
A baby boy has been found abandoned in a public toilet in a shopping centre the in Rustenburg CBD.
Paramedics say when they arrived on scene on Tuesday, they found the baby lying on the floor.
ER24’s Russel Meiring said the child was transported to a private hospital in Rustenburg for further care.
“On closer inspection, medics found a boy, believed to be only a few hours old, lying wrapped in a blanket next to a toilet. Assessments showed that the boy showed no signs of injury.”
Meiring said relevant authorities were on the scene for further investigations.
