Gauteng to Experience Hottest Day on Friday Since End of Winter
The Gauteng province is expected to experience the hottest day since the end of winter with the mercury set to rise in the high thirties.
Regional forecaster Gauteng Weather tweeted that scorching temperatures in the province are expected to reach between 32 to 34 degrees.
“Hottest day since the end of winter 2021 expected in Gauteng on Friday afternoon. Johannesburg 32°C, Vereeniging 33°C and Pretoria 34°C.”
Gauteng Weather says windy conditions on Saturday also have the possibility and are favourable to ignite runaway fires in the province.
People in the Gauteng province are advised to stay indoors and keep hydrated at all time when venturing outside.
