Haram in Makkah, Saudi Arabia Increases Capacity to Allow 100,000 to Perform Umrah

With the resumption of Umrah in Makkah, Saudi Arabia, it has emerged that the number of pilgrims and worshippers will increase as of Friday.

Arab News reports that at least 100,000 pilgrims will be able to perform Umrah daily, an increase of 30,000 while  60,000 worshippers will be able to pray in the Haram. 

The permits are issued through the Tawakkalna application.

Last month the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia announced the resumption of Umrah from other countries including South Africa.
