Lenovo Unveils a Brighter Future for Hybrid with Premium Tablets with 5G and next-gen Add-ons
Lenovo has launched a number of new products at the recent Tech World 2021 event including new smarter line of powerful, premium P-Series tablets, the Lenovo Tab P12 Pro, the Lenovo Tab P11 5G and the Lenovo Smart Wireless Earbuds.
Lenovo says its new smarter line of powerful, premium P-Series tablets, including the Lenovo Tab P12 Pro revolutionizes personal ‘me-time’ along with the debut of the tech company’s new wireless connectivity framework software, Project Unity, as well as its first Android tablet with dedicated 5G connectivity the Lenovo Tab P11 5G.
Lenovo says the new Lenovo Smart Wireless Earbuds pair instantly with up to two devices simultaneously via Bluetooth to enable sound plus smart noise cancelling.
Lenovo Tab P12 Pro
The Lenovo Tab P12 Pro packs a 12.6-inch AMOLED (2560 x 1600) touchscreen display enhanced by the detailed S-Stripe RGB subpixel layout for less graininess, immersive sound, long lasting battery and all-new digital pen with magnetic attach for wireless charging and anti-lost alert, plus bouncier key travel via detachable keyboard.
Weighing it at around 1kg for the total package the Lenovo Tab P12 Pro is ultra-thin at 5.63mm with four-sided narrow bezels for extra available screen and is offered in Storm Grey hue with a sleek all-metal build.
Packed with sensors this tablet auto-adapts users needs – toggle between a high refresh rate of up to 120Hz for seamless gaming, or downshift into the 60Hz setting for low key activities.
The Tab P12 Pro’s display features a color gamut of 107% NTSC, deep blacks, and up to 600 nits of brightness in extreme mode. It supports Dolby Vision and also includes support for HDR10+.
It also boasts four loud high excursion SLS surround sound JBL speakers for deeper bass effects and incredible clarity and depth with Dolby Atmos.

The 12-inch Lenovo Tab P12 Pro tablet with Wi-Fi only will start at $609.99 and is expected to be available on Lenovo.com starting October 2021.
The 5G model of the Lenovo Tab P12 Pro is not available in North America at this time but is expected to be offered in EMEA in October 2021 and will start at 899€
Lenovo Tab P11 5G
Lenovo’s first consumer Android tablet with dedicated 5G, the Tab P11 5G is designed to be ultra-portable as schools and offices begin to reopen and travel starts to resume.
The Lenovo Tab P11 5G supports sub-6GHz 5G4 networks and 2K resolution on the 11-inch In-Plane Switching (IPS) display that’s TÜV-certified for eye protection along with incredible picture quality delivered in Dolby Vision. This tablet supports DisplayPort and an optional keyboard pack and Lenovo Precision Pen 2 for light productivity.
Download large files at speeds 10 times faster than 4G8 or stream high-resolution videos via the incredible performance and power efficiency enabled by the Snapdragon 750G 5G Mobile Platform, as well as up to 8GB RAM and 256GB ROM.
Battery capacity is at 7700mAh battery for up to 12 hours of streaming video nd 20W quick charge.
The Lenovo Tab P11 5G boats four JBL speakers, Dolby Atmos and is available in Moon White, Storm Grey, or Modernist Teal.
The 11-inch Lenovo Tab P11 5G tablet is not currently available in North America but is expected to be offered in EMEA and will start at 499€ and is expected to be available starting October 2021.
Lenovo Smart Wireless Earbuds
The Lenovo Smart Wireless Earbuds can pair with your Android or Windows device in one click thanks to Lenovo Smart Pair technology, simply flip open the earbuds compact charging case to enable Bluetooth instantly.
Designed for all-day use, once fully charged, your earbuds should last up to 28 hours if you carry your wireless charging case with you for quick top-offs. On their own, Lenovo Smart Wireless Earbuds can last for up to seven hours of continuous listening time.
Offered in White and Black hues, each earbud weighs in at 4.2 grams.
It offers intuitive touch controls located discretely on the earbuds which allow the wearer to regulate media and comms functions easily and quickly with a simple tap – play music, pause a podcast, or make a phone call without breaking your stride; controls are fully customized via the companion app. Just say “Hey Google” to get help from Google Assistant any time, hands-free with just your voice.
The Lenovo Smart Wireless Earbuds smart audio accessory will start at $99.99 and is expected to be available at select retailers starting Q3 2021.
South African availability and pricing is yet to be announced by Lenovo.
