OPPO Launches the A16s in South Africa
Oppo has announced the launch of its latest smartphone, the A16s.
The company says the A16s redefines everything about a smartphone and introduces a variety of elements that have not been seen before, while staying true to OPPO’s core principle of offering affordable world-class technology.
The A16s boasts a 6.52-inch touchscreen display with a resolution of 720×1600 pixels at a pixel density of 269 pixels per inch (ppi) and an aspect ratio of 20:9.
The device is powered by an octa-core MediaTek Helio G35 processor and comes with 4GB of RAM. The Oppo A16s runs Android 11 and is powered by a 5000mAh battery.
The A16s has a triple lens-camera array at the rear with a 13-megapixel primary camera with an f/2.2 aperture; a 2-megapixel camera with an f/2.4 aperture, and a 2-megapixel camera with an f/2.4 aperture. It sports an 8-megapixel camera on the front for selfies with an f/2.0 aperture.
The Oppo A16s runs ColorOS 11.1 is based on Android 11 and packs 64GB of inbuilt storage that can be expanded via microSD card.

The 6,5 inch OPPO A16s comes in Pearl Blue and Crystal Black . They are available on contract from R 229 and at RRP of R 3,999 from selected operator and retail channels.
