WhatsApp, Facebook & Instagram Down, Users Worldwide Unable to Send or Receive Messages or Post Content

It has emerged that social media platforms WhatsApp, Facebook and Instagram are reportedly down for users across the globe.

Users of both iOS and Android platforms were unable to post any content or send messages on Monday.

The issue has not yet been acknowledged by WhatsApp parent company Facebook which also owns Instagram.

According to Services Down, WhatsApp was experiencing connectivity problems.

“Problems detected with WhatsApp.”

There has been no indication of when services will be restored.

In a Tweet, WhatsApp says they are aware that some people are experiencing issues with the platform at the moment.

“We are working to get things back to normal and send an update here as soon as possible.”

WhatsApp has thanked users for their patience.

Facebook and Instagram have also acknowledged that their platforms are down.
