Water Interruptions to Affect Lenasia, Lenasia South & Other Areas from Tuesday

Johannesburg Water has announced that there will be a planned water interruption affecting a number of areas including in Lenasia, Lenasia South, Zakariyya Park, Vlakfontein and Lehae among others.

The water utility says the pumps in Lenasia extension 9 and 13 will be shut from 9am until 9pm on Tuesday to install a 300mm isolating valve.

Johannesburg Water says there will be no water during this period.

Residents in Lenasia South, Hospital Hills, Zakariyya Park, Vlakfontein, Lehae will also have water interruptions from 4am on Tuesday until 9am on Wednesday to connect a 600mm bulk line to Lenasia High Level Reservoir.

Johannesburg Water has appealed to residents to use water sparingly adding that level one water restrictions are still place.
