Two Security Guards Injured in Cash-in-Transit Heist in Krugersdorp
Two security guards have been injured in a cash-in-transit heist on the R28 in Krugersdorp.
Paramedics arrive on scene on Wednesday and found the CIT vehicle in the middle of the road.
Details surrounding the heist are unclear.
ER24’s Russel Meiring said local authorities were on scene for further investigations.
“Two male security guards were seen seated on the pavement nearby. Medics assessed the two patients and found that they had escaped the incident with only minor injuries. Fortunately, no serious injuries or fatalities were found.”
The men were transported to a nearby hospital for further care.
