Two Killed & Others Injured in William Nicol & Rivonia Crash

Two people have died and two others injured after chemical truck and two motor vehicles collided on the N1 northbound between William Nicol and Rivonia.
It is understood the accident happened just after 9am on Tuesday.
The JMPD’s Wayne Minnaar says authorities were on the scene for further investigations.
“One of the cars which appears to be a Golf caught fire and is completely burnt out. The driver burnt to death and the passenger of this car died in hospital. The driver of one of the other cars was taken to Sunninghill Hospital.”
Minnaar say the tanker was empty at the time of the accident.
