Six People Including Five Children Injured after Car & Taxi Collide in Roodepoort

Six people including five children have been after a car collided with a taxi at the Albertina Sisulu and Nywerheid intersection in Roodepoort, west of Johannesburg.

Paramedics says they arrived on scene on Tuesday and found the motor vehicle in the middle of the road.

Several people were seen walking around the vehicle.

ER24’s Russel Meiring said authorities were on scene for further investigations.

“Medics assessed the patients and found that five children from the car, aged between 12 and 14, had sustained minor injuries while the taxi driver had sustained serious injuries.Medics treated the patients and provided the taxi driver with pain-relief medication before they were transported to provincial hospitals for further care.”
