Six Injured in Head-On Collision in Mpumalanga
Six people have been injured in a head-on collision between two motor vehicles on the R546 between Embalenhle and Evander in Mpumalanga.
Paramedics says when they arrived scene on Saturday, they found the two cars roughly 50 meters apart from each other.
ER24’s Ross Campbell said a 40-year-old male driver of the first vehicle was found to have sustained moderate injuries and was transported him to Evander Provincial Hospital for further care.
“The male driver of the silver Datsun on scene was found roughly 10 meters from the car, having been ejected. He had suffered serious injuries and was transported with another private service on the scene. Our paramedics then found four passengers from the Datsun all having suffered moderate injuries.”
Campbell said the patients were treated and transported to Evander Provincial Hospital for further care.
Law enforcement officials were on scene for further investigations.
