Seven-Year-Old Child Critical After Being Knocked & Dragged by Taxi in Tzaneen

A seven-year-old boy is in a critical condition after being knocked from his bicycle by a minibus taxi outside his school in Nwajaheni location North East of Tzaneen.

It is understood, the boy was knocked from his bike in the street on Monday night and then dragged underneath the vehicle.

ER24’s Ross Campbell said the boy was found lying in the street.

“Provincial services had already begun treatment of the boy and were busy loading him into their ambulance. ER24’s ALS medic took over treatment of the boy, administering Advanced Life Support interventions in order to stabilise his condition. The patient was then transported through to Letaba Provincial Hospital for further care.”
