Second Person Jumps to their Death at Sandton City Mall

Sandton City has confirmed that another person has jumped to their death at the mall.

The identity, age and gender of the individual have not been released

In a statement on Twitter, Sandton City says the individual jumped to their death on Saturday.

“Emergency services responded to the scene immediately, but the individual was unfortunately pronounced dead. The SAPS are currently investigating the incident. Sandton City Management send their deepest condolences to the family of the deceased, and request the respect of the deceased and their family on social media.”

Sandton City says the mall is operating and trading as normal.

This is the second death at the Sandton City Mall after a woman jumped to her death inside the mall in October this year.
