Saaberie Chishty to Install Over a Hundred Fire Safety Equipment at Lenasia Old Age Home

Saaberie Chishty Emergency Services will be be installing more than a hundred fire safety equipment at the Home for the Elderly in Lenasia.

The need to keep senior citizens safe comes after an elderly man died in a house fire two months ago at the old age home.

Saaberie Chishty appealed to the community and businesses to aid in contributing towards the equipment.

The organisations Abu Baker Sayed says they have had an overwhelming response to their appeal.

“The target to equip all 106 units received an overwhelming response and was achieved within a matter of days. The kind heartedness of our citizens to attend to the safety of our senior citizens was expressed through your generous contributions.”

Sayed says Saaberie Chishty’s Emergency Services including various other stakeholders will be installing the equipment by the end of November.
