Police Appeal to Public for Info After Human Remains Found in Manhole in Cato Manor, KZN
KwaZulu-Natal police have appealed to the public to come forward with any information after human remains were found in a manhole in Cato Manor.
It is understood the grim discovery was made on Saturday and is suspected to that of a teenager.
The police’s Thembeka Mbele says they are investigating a case of murder.
“The mutilated remains suspected to be that of a teenager were found in a manhole on Scelobar Avenue in Cato Manor. We are appealing to anyone with information that can assist police in solving the case or to locate the next of kin, to contact the investigating officer Detective Warrant Officer Soobramonie on 072 885 8036/031 203 300/57.”
Mbele says investigations are continuing.
