Police: “Moti brothers Arrived at their House After Being Dropped off on a Nearby Road”
Limpopo police have confirmed that the four Moti brothers arrived at their house saying they were dropped off on a nearby road.
The Moti brothers, 15-year-old Zia, 13-year-old Alaan, 11-year-old Zayyad and 7-year-old Zidan were reunited with their parents Nazim and Shaakira on Wednesday night after a close family member confirmed to Wired2News that the siblings had been found safe and reunited with their parents.
They were kidnapped on 20 October after the car they were being driven in en-route to school was cut off by two others along the Tzaneen bypass before seven heavily armed men dressed in white overalls made off with the boys.
The police’s Vish Naidoo says they received a call on Wednesday night from a local resident that the children had been found.
“Police arranged a doctor who confirmed that the children are in good health before they were handed over to their parents. The children also appeared to be in high spirits during the reunion with their parents.The children have not yet been interviewed but today investigators will arrange for the SAPS psychologists to assist with that.”
Naidoo says the investigation into the case of kidnapping is still continuing and are appealing to anyone who can assist with information that will help bring the kidnappers to book are asked to please contact the police.
