One Killed after Bakkie Rolls on N1 in Barrage
A man has been killed and another critically injured when their bakkie rolled on the N1 highway in Barrage.
Paramedics say they arrived on the scene on Wednesday night they found a bakkie on its roof with two men trapped inside the vehicle.
ER24’s Russel Meiring said medics had to use specialised equipment to free the trapped men from the car.
“Once released, medics assessed the patients and found that one man had sustained fatal injuries while the second man was in a critical condition. The man was treated for his injuries and provided with pain-relief medication before he was transported to a provincial hospital for further care.”
Local authorities were on the scene for further investigations.
