Nine Killed in Mpumalanga Horror Crash
At least nine people have died in a crash on the R573 road between Kwaggafontein and Moteti in Mpumalanga.
It is understood the accident happened early on Saturday morning when a light delivery vehicle overturned.
The South African reports that Mpumalanga Community Safety MEC Vusi Shongwe said the driver may have lost control of the vehicle.
“The deceased are all males and they were passengers. The seriously injured people include the driver. The investigation into the crash is already underway. Overloading is one of things that the probe will look into.”
Eighteen other people were seriously injured and rushed to hospital for further car.
