Muslim Prayer Facility at V&A Waterfront in Cape Town to Open on Saturday
Muslim shoppers and visitors to the V&A Waterfront in the Cape Town now have a facility to read their prayers.
According to reports, the new prayer facility will be opened on Saturday.
The prayer facility is located at Shop 263 which was the old post office on the upper level of the mall.
“FInal touch-ups are being made ahed of the opening. All signage and direction to the Jamaat Khana are available.”
The prayer facility also has a ladies section to accommodate women who want to read their prayers.
No details have been provided on whether there is an ablution facility to make wudhu.
Muslims have been urged to keep the prayer facility clean at all times.
