The Kokney Society has donated a much needed ambulance to NGO Saaberie Chishty Society.
Saaberie Chishty has been praised for their services to the Lenasia community and surrounds.
The organisation has been involved in a number of projects including the COVID-19 drive-thru vaccination site in conjunction with the Gauteng Health Department to get people within communities vaccinated.
Recently Gauteng Premier David Makhura visited the vaccine pop-site and praised the organisation for its outreach programmes.
In a Facebook post, the Saaberie Chishty Society says it is extremely grateful to the Kokney Society for the generous contribution of an ambulance to its Emergency Management Service.
“May the Almighty generously reward each and every one who contributed to this project in some way or the other.”
Saaberie Chishty is also at the centre of COVID-19 burials having recently purchased a TLB Bobcat earthmoving equipment to assist in challenges experienced in the Muslim burial process.
