King Salman Conveys Condolences to People of South Africa on passing of Former President FW de Klerk
The Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud has conveyed condolence to President Cyril Ramaphosa on the death of former President FW de Klerk.
De Klerk passed away on Thursday morning after losing the battle against cancer.
De Klerk was the last president of Apartheid South Africa and key actor in country’s transition to democracy.
King Salman expressed expressed his warmest condolences and sincere consolation to the family of de Klerk and the people of South Africa.
Ramaphosa on Tuesday declared that the National Flag be flown at half-mast on Wednesday until Sunday as a mark of respect for the late former Deputy President.
