Huawei says its Watch GT 2, which was launched in South Africa last week, has come with some of the most groundbreaking advancements in the wearable technologies industry.

The heart rate monitor also operates in a variety of other sport settings, working conjointly with the 3D distance compass and insightful altitude, height and barometric pressure data. The TruSleep 2.0 monitors sleep quality, heart rate and sleep breathing quality. Combining this with AI technology, the device is able to accurately identify six typical sleeping problems such as difficulty falling asleep and shallow sleep.

TruRelax technology in the watch helps users relieve stress by recording HRV (heart rate variability) values and providing feedback on the user’s stress index.
