Huawei Launches Powerful Y7p at Affordable Price
Huawei has launched the new Y7p, a smartphone that features powerful specifications at an affordable price and remarkable performance.
The Huawei Y7p boasts a rear triple-camera setup that includes a 48MP main camera with a wide-aperture lens, an 8MP Super Wide Angle camera and a 2MP Depth Assist Camera.
The Y7p packs 4GB RAM+64GB storage and has a triple-card tray, one of which is for storage expansion via MicroSD card of up to 512GB.
It has a large 4000mAh battery and also supports AI power-saving technology to offer power management to fix abnormal battery drain issues improving battery life.
The Huawei Y7p is equipped with a 6.39-inch Punch FullView Display that has thinner bezels at the top, left and right sides to get a screen-to-body ratio of 90 per cent. The 19.5:9 display supports a HD+ resolution of 1560×720.
The Y7p runs on Android-based EMUI 9.1, and is the first phone in South Africa to come with Huawei Mobile Services (HMS), Huawei’s new ecosystem.
Huawei’s new AppGallery is also available on this new smartphone. Available in 170 countries featuring apps from 1.3 million developers around the world, it has a four-layer detection system to ensure app security, includes thorough scans of everything that you download, and warns you if a file is a security risk.
Users are also able to get their favourite and most popular apps on the Y7p, including social media apps, email, search engines and video streaming services.
The Huawei Y7p comes in Midnight Black and Aurora Blue, retails for R3,499 and is available at mobile operators and retailers.
Huawei is offering 50GB free cloud space for six months including a free unboxing service in 150 malls around the country, so users can get all the support they need to set up their new devices.
