Gauteng Urges Residents to Take Advantage of Vooma Vaccination Weekend

The Gauteng Provincial Government has urged residents of the province to take advantage of the Vooma Vaccination Weekend. 

The province says it is geared-up for the vaccination campaign which kicks off from Friday, 12 November to Sunday 14 November. 

It says the Vooma Vaccination Weekend will see more sites, including drive throughs and mobile pop-up vaccination sites operating for longer hours to ensure that more people get vaccinated.

“Government and the private sector are offering various incentives which include cash vouchers, and discounts to encourage vaccination uptake among the 60 years and older cohort.” 

Gauteng has so far administered more than six millions vaccines in the province.
