Four Arrested in Connection with Dead Body at Lenasia South Clinic

Police have arrested four suspects in connection with a dead body at the Lenasia South clinic. 

Officers received a complaint about the 26-year-old victim by an on-duty nurse on Monday.  

The police’s Bafana Ndimande said the motive for the murder is being investigated. 

“The victim sustained severe injuries on the upper body as he was allegedly assaulted by a group of people at Thembelihle Informal Settlement in Lenasia.  The victim was later certified dead by the doctor. The pathologists transferred the deceased to Sebokeng Government Mortuary.” 

Ndimande said the suspects were detained at Lenasia SAPS cells and are expected to appear in the Lenasia Magistrates Court soon.
