FNB Banking App now available on Huawei AppGallery
FNB and Huawei have announced that the FNB Banking App is now available on Huawei Mobile Services (HMS), HUAWEI AppGallery,Huawei’s app store.
The Huawei AppGallery which was launched in 2018, has over 400 million active monthly users worldwide, and has secured its position as one of the Top 3 app marketplaces globally
Commercial partnerships, as well as partnerships with app developers, have been a key focus for each market that Huawei has a presence in.
Likhun Zhao, Vice President at Huawei Consumer Business Group for Southern Africa says the company has been working hard over the past year to ensure that customers get all the apps they need, whether they are for entertainment or necessity.
“We are happy to welcome FNB to the Huawei AppGallery family of apps. Given the high smartphone penetration in South Africa banking apps are a key priority for consumers.”
Giuseppe Virgillito, Head of Digital Banking at FNB, says the institution has a major focus on customer-centricity and the move to avail their banking App on more platforms affirms FNB’scommitment.
“We believe that this will also improve customer experience for our App users, coupled with the exciting functionality we continue to roll-out on our App.”
The Huawei AppGallery features applications across 18 categories, including news, social media, entertainment and uses advanced security features to protect users’ data and privacy.
