Employment & Labour Dept Deploys UIF Bus after Computers Stolen at Labour Centre in Atteridgeville

The Employment and Labour Department said it has deployed an Unemployment Insurance Fund (UIF) bus to begin servicing clients following a break-in and theft of computers at Atteridgeville Labour Centre.

The department said the bus will operation four times a week from Tuesday to Friday from 7:30am to 4pm.

It said clients will no longer be required to travel to Pretoria or surrounding areas in order to receive assistance.

“The Department encourages the public to make the most of this opportunity and is constantly working to bring services closer to the public.”

The department has appealed to the public and residents of Atteridgeville, to come forward with any information that may assist the police with their investigation.
