Elderly Man Dies in House Fire at Lenasia Old Age Home
An elderly man has died in a house fire at the old age home in Lenasia.
Saaberie Chishty Ambulance say they were informed of the blaze just after 10pm on Saturday.
It is unclear what caused the fire.
“Upon arrival the team found community members attempting to extinguish the fire. It was discovered that an elderly male was in the house at the time and unfortunately he had succumbed to his injuries from the fire.”
The cause of the fire is being investigated.
