Body of Missing Lenasia Businessman Found Dumped in Pretoria Dam
Police have discovered the remains of a Lenasia businessman who was reported kidnapped last year.
The body of 43-year-old Zeyn Khan was found by a passerby in the Roodeplaat Dam last week.
Zeyn was reported missing in Greymont in November last year.
His car was found abandoned in Eldorado Park, South of Johannesburg.
There were calls for a ransom demand, but no proof of life was provided.
The police’s Colonel Dimakatso Sello told News24 they are investigating a case of murder.
“She (passerby) notified the police, who immediately responded. Upon arrival at the said place, the police discovered a frozen body wrapped in a plastic bag. The body was mutilated, with the head, arms, legs and private parts missing.”
Kameeldrift police have urged anyone with information that can assist in the case to come forward.
