Apple iPhone XR Pre-Orders in SA Open 19 October

The iStore has announced customers will be able to pre-order iPhone XR beginning 19 October at with devices being available in stores starting 26 October 2018.

The 6.1” iPhone XR was launched last month by Apple at the Steve Jobs Theatre in Cupertino.

iPhone XR features a 12-megapixel f/1.8 aperture wide-angle lens with an all-new sensor, delivering faster auto-focus, while larger and deeper pixels improve image fidelity and low-light performance on photos and videos.

The XR comes with Face ID doing away with the home button and has the A12 Bionic chip inside. The device comes in all kinds of funky colours, like yellow, coral, and blue.

iStore says pre-orders will be open for cash purchases and on iStore’s revised payment plan in partnership with FNB Credit Card, allowing customers to pay off their iPhone at a reduced interest rate.

Online contract upgrades for both Vodacom and MTN for iPhone Xs and Xs Max will also be available from Friday.

iStore will also offer XR owners the same iCare Plus package offered on the new iPhone XS and XS Max, which gives customers free iCare Plus worth R2,000 and includes a two-year extended warranty and a certified screen repair.
