Epson has launched the world’s smallest LCD laser projector – The EF-100W/B, measuring just 23cm along its longest edge.

The company says the portable laser projector has been designed to be as flexible as possible for home users, in both usability and design.

The EF-100W/B features a lightweight chassis and is available in either a black or white casing.

It has the capability to project up to 3.8 metres and in daylight, the laser light source delivers a bright picture, so there is no need to turn lights off, block windows or even use a screen.

The laser light source has a lifespan of up to 20,000 hours, allowing the projector to be used every day for ten years.

The EF-100W/B is easy to set-up while the  welcome guide will assist users with the key features of the device.

Other features include accessing content from a phone, tablet, DVD player, games console or laptop by inserting a cable into the HDMI port. Streaming content is also with devices such as Amazon Fire TV, Google Chromecast, Roku and Apple TV

The plug and play design also incorporates flexible options for sound: built-in speakers, Bluetooth connectivity for sound bars or a headphone jack.

The EF-100W/B is available at selected stores, for R16 999.00.

Customers who  buy the new projector through Takealot will receive a free Xbox One S 1TB.
