Samsung Unveils Samsung Galaxy Watch Active2 Under Armour Edition

Samsung has unveiled the Galaxy Watch Active2 Under Armour Edition emphasising the company’s renewed focus on health and wellbeing.

Samsung says the Galaxy Watch Active2 Under Armour Edition is designed for people that love to run and want to improve their running fitness and form, with unique features that provide a connected running experience.

Armed with just a watch connected to their running shoes and without the need for a phone, runners can do what they couldn’t do before.

Cadence-based, real-time form coaching and Premium access to the world’s largest fitness community – MapMyRun – create an ecosystem experience that brings runners accurate data, more intuitive coaching and better overall exercise experiences.

Six months of free MapMyRun Premium Membership access, with training plans, is included with the watch.

Exclusively on Galaxy Watch Active2 Under Armour Edition, when the smartwatch is paired with the UA HOVR running shoes, users also get real-time stats on stride length and real-time form coaching, improving the users’ overall fitness performance and technique as if running alongside a coach.

This real-time feedback is only available on Galaxy Watch Active and Active2.

Compared to regular smartwatches, the Galaxy Watch Active2 Under Armour Edition can even control your phone’s camera to capture photos while you run.

The Galaxy Watch Active2 Under Armour Edition comes in a lightweight aluminum body, with a specially developed watch face and two size options – the 44mm with black strap for R8,999 and the 40mm with mod gray strap will be R8,499.
