Man found murdered in Lenasia
Lenasia police are investigating a case of murder after a mans body was found at the Thembelihle informal settlement in Lenasia.
Officers said they received a complaint of shooting at Thembelihle Informal Settlement and on arrival at the scene found an unknown man lying on the ground without any movement.
The police’s Bafana Ndimande said the motive for the murder is being investigated.
“The victim sustained a gunshot wound on the upper body. The paramedics were summoned to the crime scene and certified the victim dead.The pathologists transferred the deceased to Diepkloof Government Mortuary.”
Ndimande has appealed the Lenasia community to assist police with the information that may lead to the arrest of the perpetrators.
