Parts of Joburg, Lenasia & Soweto Rattled by Tremor
A tremor has rocked parts of the West Rand and Johannesburg.
It is understood the tremor struck just after 7pm on Saturday.
According to Volcano Discovery, the tremor was a magnitude 3.1 at a depth of 10 km depth near Westonaria.
The tremor was felt in several areas including Lenasia , Lenasia South, Soweto and parts of Johannesburg South.
A resident from Lenasia South told Wired2News that she felt the house shake for a few seconds while another resident said the furniture in his house rattled.
There have been no reports of any damages or injuries.
