Dr. Ismail Vadi Pays Tribute to Ml Yahya Bham in New Book

Former Gauteng MEC for Roads and Transport Dr. Ismail Vadi has paid tribute to well-respected and esteemed Lenasia Islamic scholar Ml Yahya Bham with a new book. 

Hadhrat Ml Yahya Bham passed away on 5 January 2022 after a long illness.

In the book titled “Maulana Yahya Bham a Humble Servant of Humanity”, Dr Vadi writes about the admirable traits and qualities of the respected scholar. 

Dr Vadi touches on many aspects of Ml Bham’s life including his birth and ancestry, education, family, employment and community engagements among other discussions.

In the book Dr Vadi said Ml Bham was such a humble human being that he bore his illness with remarkable patience. 

“His demise at the age of 66 years is a great spiritual loss to the Muslim community in South Africa and elsewhere.” 

The book also features letters of condolences from the Jamiatul Ulama South Africa, South African Hajj and Umrah Council (SAHUC) and Darul Uloom Zakariyya among others.
