Man Killed after Car Crashes into Wall in Germiston

A man believed to be 25-years-old was killed after his vehicle crashed into a wall at the M2 offramp and the Refinery intersection in Germiston.

ER24’s Russel Meiring said a man was lying motionless in the driver’s seat.

Paramedics say on arrival at the scene, they found a light motor vehicle smashed against a wall and palisade fence.

“Medics assessed the man and found that he showed no signs of life. Unfortunately, nothing could be done for him, and he was declared dead.”

Meiring said the details surrounding the incident are unknown, but local authorities were on the scene for further investigations.
