Lenasia Residents Warned to be Vigilant of Scamsters Allegedly Operating at Signet Terrace & Trade Route Mall

Lenasia residents have been warned to be vigilant of bogus salespeople preying on the poor and vulnerable. 

Police say the scamsters approach the victims and promise 50%  discount on clothing.

It is understood the suspects are allegedly operating  at Signet Terrace and Trade Route Mall shopping centres in Lenasia. 

“The police’s Bafana Ndimande said: “The so-called salespersons lead the victims to follow them and rob them of their valuables and cash. We urge the community to report any criminal activities to the SAPS National Crime Stop line at 08600 10111 or Lenasia Police Station.”
