At Least Twelve Injured After Car Crash into Taxi in Centurion

At least twelve people have been injured after a motor vehicle collided with a taxi on Willem Botha Road in Eldograine, Centurion.

ER24 paramedics were responding to another incident when they came across the crash on Monday.

ER24’s Russel Meiring said medics found the taxi and light motor vehicle parked on the side of the road.

“Several passengers were seen walking around. Medics assessed the patients and found that twelve adults had sustained moderate injuries. Fortunately, no serious injuries or fatalities were found. The patients were treated and transported to a nearby hospital for urgent care.”

Local authorities were on the scene for further investigations.
