Two Killed, Three Wounded in Ruimsig Shooting

Two men have been killed and three others wounded following a shooting on William Road in Ruimsig.

The details of the shooting remains unclear

ER24’s Russel Meiring said paramedics say on arrival at the scene on Sunday night and were led to several patients lying in nearby informal houses and in the nearby veld.

“Medics assessed the patients and found that two men had already succumbed to their fatal gunshot wounds. Nothing could be done for them, and they were declared dead. Three other patients, a woman and two men were assessed and found in serious to critical condition.

Meiring the patients treated and transported to nearby hospitals for urgent care.

Local authorities were on the scene for further investigations.
