Lenasia Mother Assaulted During House Robbery
A Lenasia mother has allegedly been assaulted after armed criminals broken into her home in extension 10.
It is understood the mother was at home with her children when a group of suspects forced their way into the house early on Tuesday morning.
The criminals robbed the family of valuables before fleeing the scene.
At the same time, a delivery driver was robbed on Monday of his cellphone and valuables in also in Lenasia extension 10.
It’s alleged the criminals fled into the Thembelihe informal settlement.
Crime continues to persist in Lenasia and Lenasia South with many residents expressing concerns about the high number of house robberies, hijackings and business robberies.
