Cricket SA to Brief Parliament Committee on Allegations of Mismanagement & SJN Report

Cricket SA (CSA) is expected to brief the Portfolio Committee on Sport, Arts and Culture on allegations of mismanagement levelled against CSA and the social justice and nation-building findings. 

The Social Justice and Nation-Building (SJN) report made findings regarding allegations of discrimination and racism against various individuals, including Proteas Head Coach Mark Boucher.

There findings also revealed exclusionary practices in the team, and salary disparities between white and black cricketers.

Boucher has been charged with misconduct following racism allegations.

The Cricket SA delegation is expected to be led by the President of Cricket SA Rihan Richards, and the Chairperson of the Board Lawson Naidoo.
